Privacy Policy
Last updated October 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) sets out how information about users of the OPLOT service (the “Service”) is processed and protected. Terms are used as defined in the Terms of Service.
1. General Provisions
1.1. The controller of the processed information is the Administration of the Service.
1.2. Using the Service means the User agrees to this Policy and to the processing of their information under it.
1.3. The Administration processes only information needed to run the Features and does not sell it to third parties.
2. Information Processed
2.1. Discord account data: ID, username, avatar and, when signing in to the Control Panel, the list of Servers where the User is a Server Administrator.
2.2. Server data: IDs of the Server, its channels, roles and members; Bot settings; texts and images uploaded by the Server Administrator for the Features.
2.3. Moderation data: records of warnings, restrictions, kicks and bans, their reasons and moderator notes.
2.4. Feature data for Features enabled by the Server Administrator: member activity (levels, experience, in-server currency), event and tournament sign-ups, giveaway entries, support requests on the Server (tickets), applications and reviews, birthdays without the year, reminders, invite information, game server addresses and in-game IDs given when banning a player in the game.
2.5. Message content. Messages on the Server are checked automatically when sent, for moderation purposes. The Administration does not store message text. Messages that broke the Server's rules, and edited and deleted messages (if logging is enabled), are sent to the Server's log channel and are visible only to its administration.
2.6. Payment data: order number, items purchased, amount, payment status, Server ID and User ID. Card details and other payment credentials are not shared with the Administration.
2.7. Technical data: the Control Panel session cookie.
3. Purposes of Processing
3.1. Information is processed in order to:
- provide the Features enabled by the Server Administrator;
- provide access to the Control Panel and verify the User's permissions;
- keep the Server's moderation log;
- record payments and grant Subscriptions;
- protect the Service and Servers from abuse, fraud and spam;
- respond to User requests.
4. Shared Server Protection
4.1. If the Server Administrator enables the shared offender list, when a member is banned on that Server the banned user's ID (or in-game ID), the date and a short reason are stored.
4.2. Other Servers that enabled this feature see only the number of bans and their reasons, without the names of the Servers where they happened.
4.3. The record is deleted when the ban is lifted. When a Server turns the feature off, its bans are no longer counted.
4.4. Support access: OPLOT support gets access to a Server only with the explicit consent of the Server Administrator — the “Allow support to join the server” option is off by default.
4.5. Every time an invite is issued to support, it is recorded in the Server log and shown to the Administrator (who requested it and when).
4.6. The Server Administrator can withdraw consent at any time by turning this option off in the control panel.
5. Disclosure to Third Parties
5.1. The Administration shares information with third parties only to the extent needed to run the Features:
- the Discord platform — as the Bot operates through its API;
- the payment provider — the details needed to process a payment;
- service providers engaged for specific Features enabled by the Server Administrator (including automated content checks, music playback, game server and game profile checks). Such providers receive only the data needed to fulfil the request, without information identifying the author of a message.
5.2. Information may be disclosed at the request of authorized government bodies where required by law.
6. Storage and Protection
6.1. Information is kept for as long as needed for the purposes of processing:
- Server data — while the Bot is connected to the Server, or until a deletion request is received;
- moderation data — until removed by the Server's administration or until the expiry period set on the Server;
- Control Panel session — up to 7 days;
- payment data — for the period required for accounting and tax purposes.
6.2. The Administration takes the necessary organizational and technical measures to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure and destruction. Access to information is restricted. Credentials provided by a Server Administrator for the Features are stored encrypted.
7. Cookies
7.1. The Service uses only the cookie needed to keep the Control Panel session. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.
7.2. The chosen interface language is stored only in the User's browser.
8. User Rights
8.1. The User may:
- obtain information about the data processed about them;
- request correction, restriction or deletion of their information;
- withdraw consent to processing by stopping use of the Service.
8.2. A Server Administrator may remove the Bot from the Server at any time and request deletion of all Server data.
8.3. Requests are sent to the contacts in section 11 and are handled within 30 days of receipt.
9. Minors
9.1. The Service is intended for people who have reached the age at which Discord allows use of its services in their country. The Administration does not knowingly process information about people under that age.
10. Changes to the Policy
10.1. The Administration may change this Policy. A new version takes effect when published on this page with its date.
